The theme for this portfolio was images from UK freshwater.
All images are from Stoney Cove and are taken in less than 6 metres of water over the winter when the visibility was at its best. The images were taken over several Saturday mornings when Stoney is heaving with other divers – fortunately most divers avoid the shallows.
A theme tile was included in the middle just in case the viewer was not sure what the theme was. The images are simple straight forward shots, yet of different subjects - all taken with a Nikon D80 and Sea & Sea housing. The trickiest shot to get right was the top centre weed/ Snell’s window, as balancing strobe and available light just below the surface whilst holding my breath to avoid bubbles ruining the surface, was quite awkward.

Trevor specialises in underwater photography and has been a diver for nearly 30 years. Considerable diving experience, especially in the UK, allows him to concentrate on the all important image.
